Community & recognition

Two things live under this page: a community forum for Sencai customers, and the gamification layer you’ll see in the app as you work - XP, ranks, badges, and an optional per-organization leaderboard.

Community forum

A community forum for Sencai customers is being rolled out, where you’ll be able to ask questions, share how you’ve set things up, and hear from other teams using the platform. It isn’t open for general sign-in yet. Once it’s live, you’ll be able to reach it from within the app rather than needing a separate account to create - check back, or ask your account team for the current status.

In the meantime, use Support or the Knowledge base for questions.

XP, ranks, and badges

As you and your team use the platform, your account accumulates XP (experience points) for certain actions - today that includes things like resolving an incident and a successful automated runbook run, with more contributing actions being added over time. XP is computed by Sencai; it isn’t something you can set directly.

Your total XP determines your rank, shown on your profile. Ranks run, from lowest to highest:

  1. Bronze
  2. Silver
  3. Gold
  4. Platinum
  5. Diamond
  6. Sencai Master

Badges are awarded automatically when you meet a specific, predefined condition (for example, a milestone tied to a particular kind of action). You can’t request or manually claim a badge - it unlocks on its own once you’ve earned it, and appears on your profile alongside your rank.

None of this affects your organization’s access, billing, or any actual infrastructure - it’s a recognition layer on top of the work you’re already doing.

Leaderboard

Each organization can turn on a leaderboard that ranks its own members by XP, badges earned, and rank. It’s off by default and scoped to a single organization - there’s no platform-wide leaderboard comparing customers or organizations against each other.

  • An organization Owner or Admin turns the leaderboard on or off from the organization’s settings.
  • If it’s off, members see a plain explanation rather than an error when they visit the leaderboard page.
  • Any member can opt themselves out from the leaderboard page directly - this hides you from that organization’s leaderboard, and from every other organization’s leaderboard you’re a member of, in one setting.
